Built in Corona, California, the American Performer Telecaster combines exceptional Fender tone and authentic feel with modern materials and player-focused features, designed to inspire and push your playing to new heights. The American Performer Telecaster includes Yosemite™ single-coil pickups, designed to deliver rich, expressive tones.
Thanks to staggered pole pieces for increased output and breathable coil coatings that control feedback — a shellac coating for the neck pickup and a wax coating for the bridge pickup — the Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation. The American Performer Telecaster also features a Greasebucket™ tone circuit to shape the highs without adding bass, preserving your tone.
