The Fender® American Vintage II series presents a remarkably faithful reinterpretation of the groundbreaking designs that changed the course of music history. Built with historically correct bodies, necks and hardware, premium finishes and painstaking attention to tone, with era-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of Fender's most authentic craftsmanship and tone.
With its striking curves, bright tone and revolutionary vibrato bridge, the new 1954 Fender Stratocaster® was a true phenomenon, unlike anything before it. By 1957, the Stratocaster had already established itself as a mid-century masterpiece.
With a trio of Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups, a strikingly contoured body profile and a supremely comfortable "V"-profile neck with a 7.25" radius maple fingerboard, the Stratocaster American Vintage II 1957 reproduces all the sound and feel that make up the unmistakable essence of the original. Other features include a historically accurate "synchronised tremolo" with cold-rolled steel blocks, bent steel saddles, "Fender Deluxe" in-line tuning machines and a single-ply pickguard.
Offered in three stunning nitrocellulose lacquer finishes: 2-Color Sunburst and Sea Foam Green on an alder body, and Vintage Blonde on an ash body, the Stratocaster American Vintage II 1957 celebrates a true icon of Fender instrument design.
