Whether composing at home or performing on stage, the mahogany California Deluxe Monterey™ E is built to keep pace with you. Its classic folk-style body offers a comfortable, natural feel that invites you to play for hours, producing articulate, focused sound and an intimate character that connects the player to the instrument. The solid mahogany top and laminated mahogany back and sides, reinforced by scalloped X bracing, produce a solid tone, full in the mids, smooth in the highs and perfectly cutting. Additional features include: sealed tuning machines with split posts that hold tuning even through the longest sets, Micarta® nut and saddle for maximum tonal transfer, and phosphor bronze strings for a rich, full-bodied sound from the very first strum. High-quality on-stage amplification is ensured by the Fishman® CD-1 preamp with built-in tuner.
