The Player II Modified Precision Bass® Active is a classic model aimed at the modern player. Everything about the neck is designed for fast and fluid playability, from the Modern “C” profile to the smooth satin urethane finish on the back and the one-piece slab rosewood or maple fingerboard, with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, with 20 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. The Player II Modified Precision Bass® neck pickup and Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® bridge pickup offer classic roaring Fender impact while eliminating unwanted noise, and the all-new active preamp with active/passive tone control and an improved EQ section allow perfect control for dialling in your favourite tones. The 4-saddle HiMass™ bridge, tapered-post tuning machines and TUSQ® nut work together to keep tuning remarkably stable even through the most demanding performances.
