The Fender® Vintera III series offers meticulously recreated vintage replicas that capture the authentic look, feel and sound of iconic Fender instruments from the '50s, '60s and '70s.
The Vintera® III Bass VI® Early '60s features an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, for that classic, cutting, defined Fender sound. The early-'60s "C"-profile maple neck with a 30" (76.2 cm) scale, rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25” (18.415 cm) radius and vintage-tall frets ensure maximum comfort and outstanding response. The instrument is equipped with three early-'60s vintage-style single-coil pickups that create all the deep, roaring, rich and articulate tones that made Fender® famous. Other features include a vintage-style floating tremolo for expressive vibrato, individual on/off switches for each pickup, a Bass VI mute and vintage-style tuning machines for improved tuning stability.
