The Player II Modified Stratocaster® is a classic model aimed at the modern player. Everything about the neck is designed for fast and fluid playability, from the Modern “C” profile to the smooth satin urethane finish on the back and the one-piece slab rosewood or maple fingerboard, with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, with 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. Player II Noiseless™ pickups deliver classic Strat® brightness while eliminating unwanted noise, and the switch on the second tone control offers even more tonal flexibility by adding the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2. The 2-point anchored vibrato, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut and modern string tree work together to keep tuning remarkably stable, while the greater travel of the bevelled tremolo block lets players draw even more expressive, musical vibrato from their instrument.
