Classic Design CN models combine the easy playability and distinctive tone of nylon strings with the comfort of steel-string-typical spacing. We replaced the typically wide necks of classical guitars with the same easy-playing profile found on all other Classic Design models. In a nod to tradition, the CN-140SCE uses a solid cedar top, along with walnut back/sides for a warm, mellow tone.
The CN-140SCE offers an extremely comfortable experience for musicians of any level: the 'thinline' concert body makes it a perfect guitar for both the living room and the stage, while the single cutaway eases access to the higher frets. When it's time to amplify, this model's built-in Fishman® electronics offer simple yet powerful tonal control.
