The American Performer Telecaster Hum from Corona, CA, combines exceptional Fender humbucking tone and authentic feel with new tonal technologies and player-focused features designed to inspire and push your playing to new heights. The American Performer Telecaster Hum features the Yosemite™ single-coil pickup — designed for rich, expressive tone — and a Double Tap™ humbucking pickup at the neck.
This unique, patented design combines humbucking and single-coil voices, eliminating the volume drop in single-coil mode. Thanks to staggered pole pieces for increased output and wax coatings that let the coils breathe while controlling feedback, the Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation.
