Whether composing at home or performing on stage, the California Deluxe Kingman™ CE bass is built to keep pace with you. Its acoustic bass body produces a naturally resonant, deep low end with striking definition and articulation, while the cutaway shape keeps the upper register fully accessible for melodic parts and expressive performance. The solid Sitka spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides, reinforced by scalloped X bracing, produce a full, balanced and remarkably lively sound. Additional features include: open-gear tuning machines that hold tuning even through the longest sets, Micarta® nut and saddle for maximum tonal transfer, and phosphor bronze strings for a rich, full-bodied sound from the very first strum. High-quality on-stage amplification is ensured by the Fishman® CD-1 preamp with built-in tuner.
