This guitar is equipped with a set of Yosemite™ single-coil pickups, designed to deliver rich, expressive tones.
With staggered pole pieces for increased output and breathable coil coatings that control feedback — a shellac coating for the neck pickup and a wax coating for the bridge pickup — the Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation. The American Performer Telecaster also features a Greasebucket™ tone circuit to shape the highs without adding bass, preserving your tone.
