Product information "Fender® Limited Edition Sandblasted Jazz Bass with Ash Body"
The Limited Edition Sandblasted Ash Jazz Bass features one of the most striking, unusual finish treatments ever seen on a Fender instrument. After the clear finish is applied (in a beautiful sapphire blue or crimson red), the ash body is literally sandblasted; this treatment leaves the beautifully rough grain pattern with parallel grooves and channels where the black grain base shows through beneath the coloured finish layer.
It's a truly beautiful look rounded out by a black pickguard, and no two instruments have identical "topography".
