Product information "Fender® Pugilist Distortion V2"
Pugilist V2 is a distortion pedal unlike any other, with two independent distortion engines combined in a single chassis to produce a rich array of thick, muscular tones. Each engine can be switched on separately with its dedicated footswitch and shaped with its own Gain, Tone and Level controls. That gives you two differently voiced distortions: Engine A creates treble-rich lead tones, while Engine B delivers a thicker, heavier distortion. But the real magic of Pugilist V2 is the Path selector, which routes the engines through three different signal paths so they interact, pushing each other into harmonically rich saturation.
The two Series modes feed one circuit into the other for distorted sounds that can be stacked like amp channels, using the footswitches to step up to the next level of cascading distortion. Parallel mode lets you reshape your sound by running the two engines side by side, mixing and balancing them with the Level controls to create the perfect blend of articulate and full-bodied distortion.
With global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches, switchable buffered and true bypass modes, and switch-enabled footswitches for momentary and on/off operation, this pair of distortion circuits delivers huge distorted tones with modern features to suit any pedalboard.
