For unconventional guitarists with an ear for the unusual and an eye for elegance, the Vaporizer evokes the space-race era of the '50s-'60s and beams you back, like a ray gun, into that thrilling atomic-age world. It was a time when garage bands exploded with guitar music, and legions of musicians who couldn't afford professional gear played with department-store guitars and amps.
Colourful, affordable and out of this world, the Vaporizer would have been right at home aboard a Mercury capsule and in the backyard fallout shelter, only to be found decades later in some forgotten corner of the pawn shop.
