Squier® pays tribute to the godfather of alt-rock and Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis with a striking Jazzmaster® guitar model that delivers sound and performance as massive as its namesake. Pickups, hardware and finish are all specified by Mascis himself for outstanding tone and value.
The J Mascis Jazzmaster® features an alder body, "C"-profile maple neck, 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 jumbo frets, two Jazzmaster single-coil pickups with 3-position switch and dual tone circuit, gold anodized aluminum pickguard, aged white plastic components (knobs, switch tip, pickup covers), Adjusto-Matic™ bridge with vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece, vintage-style tuning machines, chrome hardware, Vintage White finish and J Mascis's signature on the back of the large '60s-style headstock.
