Built with a solid okoume top with X-bracing and solid okoume back and sides, the Redondo™ Special's dreadnought body boasts exceptional projection and volume with a deep, bass-rich sound, suited to both stage and studio. The neck is designed with a slim, easy-playing "C" profile, a 25.5" scale length and a backward-angled headstock with 6 in-line tuners for a distinctive look rooted in the DNA of Fender electric guitars. Other notable details include vintage tuning machines for smooth, precise tuning, a maple rosette and body binding for an elegant look, and a bone nut and saddle for rich harmonic character. Designed for musicians, the Fishman® Flex Body preamp system combines an under-saddle piezo transducer and an internal body transducer to deliver faithful, reliable reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amplifier, PA system or recording device.
