Product Warranty

Items purchased on Saccuman.it are NEW and are covered by the statutory warranty under Italian law, pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).

Saccuman Srl, in particular for stringed instruments, checks the proper functioning and overall quality of each product before shipment. This service ensures the customer receives an instrument ready to play and reduces the likelihood of needing a return.

What the Warranty Covers

WARRANTY means the free repair or replacement of components or parts of the item recognized by the relevant manufacturers as defective in manufacturing or materials.

Exclusions of liability: The warranty does not cover accidental damage, loss, non-use of the item, or loss of stored data. Saccuman Srl disclaims all liability for damage to persons, property or animals resulting from failure to observe the installation, use and maintenance instructions provided in the operating manuals.

Warranty Duration

The warranty is valid upon presentation of the original purchase invoice:

Private Consumers: (purchase without a VAT number) 24 months (two years) pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005.
Professionals and Businesses: (purchase with a VAT number) 12 months (one year) pursuant to Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.

Any additional warranty extensions offered directly by the manufacturer remain unaffected.

Terms and Limitations

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

Negligence, incorrect use or installation not compliant with the instruction manuals.
Mishandling, deterioration, lightning, weather events or electrical power surges.
Repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel or the use of non-original spare parts.
Use of the device in violation of the technical and safety requirements applicable in the country of use.

Wear Parts (Exclusions)

Consumable parts subject to normal wear and tear are excluded from the warranty, including but not limited to:

Musical instrument strings;
Batteries and light bulbs;
Print ribbons or recording media.
