The Jazzmaster® American Professional II draws on over sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the needs of today's professional musicians.
Our beloved Deep "C" neck now features rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish and a redesigned neck heel for extraordinary comfort and easy access to the highest frets. The new V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups are more articulate than ever, while retaining the brightness and tone characteristic of the Jazzmaster. The bridge pickup features a tap function that lets you get both a powerful, full-bodied sound and a lower-output vintage tone. With a simple switch, the rhythm circuit links the two pickups in series for a fuller tone and greater output, controlled by independent volume and tone potentiometers. The new Panorama® tremolo system, with removable arm, significantly expands the available vibrato range, allowing deep Strat-style dive bombs in addition to the classic Jazzmaster wobble.
The Jazzmaster American Pro II offers instant familiarity and sonic versatility, with wide-ranging improvements that add up to a new standard for professional instruments.
