Built for crafting heavy, fluid metal riffs, the Jim Root Jazzmaster V4 delivers crushing, detuned tone with a bold new look. We worked closely with the towering Slipknot guitarist to create a brutal-sounding signature Jazzmaster model that fully complements his heavy playing style, right down to the active EMG® open-coil pickups, the shred-ready 12" radius fingerboard with jumbo frets, the sparse control layout and more.
The Jim Root Jazzmaster II does away with frivolities like vibrato, rhythm circuit or tone control, leaving only the crucial essentials: a volume control, a 3-position switch and a fixed bridge, which make this guitar a single-purpose weapon of mass destruction.
