For musicians desperately seeking the style and sound of Fender's golden era, we created the Vintera '60s Mustang. Featuring the coveted characteristics that defined the decade, including an era-accurate neck profile and playability along with newly voiced pickups, this guitar has all the punch and style that helped make the Mustang a legend.
To deliver authentic vintage tone, we reworked the voicing of the pair of Mustang single-coil pickups to sound more like the originals. Crystalline and bright, they feature the sparkling, articulate tone that built Fender's reputation.
Key features:
- For a classic feel, we added 22 vintage frets to the neck-mounted fingerboard; the '60s "C"-profile neck has a 7.25" radius fingerboard with 22 vintage frets that gives players a classic feel
- A vintage Mustang bridge, tremolo and tuning machines offer an era-accurate look, highly reliable performance and tuning stability
- Other features include classic pickup slider switches, chrome tuning machines and a four-bolt neck plate
